This Bilingual Education Supplemental test preparation training is provided by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) at no cost to active Texas teachers in Local Education Agencies (public and charter schools) serving emergent bilingual students. 

Participants in this training must commit to completing the 4 competencies of training required in this cohort to obtain 6 CPEs of credit.  No partial credit will be given if you are unable to fulfill this requirement.

Cultivate your teaching aptitude with this Title III-funded free training for Texas educators, supported by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). 

This synchronous course will provide 6 hours of preparation for the TExES Bilingual Education Supplemental (164). Training objectives include understanding bilingual education regulations in Texas, language acquisition and learning, literacy and biliteracy development and assessment, as well as biliteracy in the content areas.
