The four modules under this section were developed by the Parent and Family Engagement Statewide Initiative, whose team members have extensive experience in developing and operating parent and family engagement processes in educational settings. The modules are facilitated by ESC personnel and offered in person at the regional service center throughout the school year.

Important Session Information:


This session helps schools that building capacity is not just social work. While building relationships is critical to better parent and family engagement, building capacity requirements must be met. Participants will walk away knowing the building capacity requirements, different evaluation methods, as well as Parents Right to Know as outlined in ESSA 1112 and 1116.
