ESC 19 will provide Psychological First Aid for School Professional Development, The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) Model, listed on TEAs best practice list. 

Content to be delivered:

  • Identify the basic objectives and intervention strategies of Psychological First Aid for Schools.
  • Gain skills needed to implement the intervention strategies of Psychological First Aid Schools.
  • Appreciate the importance of providing Psychological First Aid for Schools after an emergency.
  • Gain confidence in implementing Psychological First Aid for Schools after an event.
  • Identify ways to enhance provider care.
