These sessions will establish, expand, train, and sustain the State of Texas (the “State”) public health workforce to support jurisdictional COVID-19 prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives, including school-based health programs for Education Service Centers (ESCs) and Local Educational Agencies (LEAs).  Sessions will train qualified health professionals, including, but not limited to, school nurses and administrators.

Please join Jamie Bailey and Jaime Diaz from Project Vida in their mission to decrease the adverse impact of opioids on Texas residents through education and access to the opioid overdose reversal medication called naloxone or Narcan. This 2-hour training will teach you how Narcan works, what it works for, and how to administer it. Training organized by Aliviane’s Prevention Resource Center and Region 19.
