Menu Planning/Meal Patterns-Spanish




This class teaches Contracting Entities (CEs) basic to advanced Food Production Record (FPR) skills including how to fill out a FPR, how to use meal documentation to support the FPR and how to use the FPR to improve forecasting, communication, organization and to demonstrate compliance.

You understand and acknowledge that the training you are about to receive does not cover the entire scope of the program and that you are responsible for knowing and understanding all handbooks, manuals, alerts, notices and guidance as well as any other forms of communication that provide further guidance, clarification or instruction on operating the program.

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program that provide 3 million lunches and nearly 1.5 million breakfasts to Texas children every day. Operators aim to serve nutritious lunches to students and must also meet federal nutrition guidelines as well as daily and weekly meal pattern requirements. This course describes the meal pattern requirements for pre-K through 12th grade students participating in the National School Lunch.
