Adult learning workshop to increase much needed skillsets to work with a variety of student learners. Providing specific feedback on your focus which is driven by your expectations to all students. Front loading learning through role playing, direct explicit teaching of listening, attending and participation and use of simple visuals whole class to individuals.

Important Session Information:


1. Participants will identify 3 of their own adult learning barriers.

2. Participants will describe 2 benefits of stepping out of their teaching comfort zone.

3. Participants will define the difference between rote vs meaningful learning and teaching.

4. Participants will list the 4 stages of listening and activities for each level to gain and maintain attention purposefully teaching listening skills.

5. Participants will create one classroom expectation based on what they want for all students in their classroom including diverse learners.
