SLP Teacher Team Approach - The Executive Function Series; Organization
Workshop




Description:  This workshop is an opportunity for Classroom Teachers in Special Education and their SLP partners to come together. Let’s learn to collaborate around Executive Functioning skill sets needed from co-teaching/treating with the whole class and planning for our individual students. This next session in the series will focus on Organization through Routines, time management, and Orientation for calming the brain. Focusing on how to collaborate through organization and purpose, your SLP/Teacher team will be leaving with a storybook, a created make-n-take collaboration lesson and so many resources.  We are limiting registration to 30 teams (School Speech Language Pathologist and Classroom Teacher in Special Education per team) from Early Childhood/ Elementary settings and Secondary settings (middle or high school).

  1. Identify 2 resources and 3 extension activities in organization, orientation, routine, and time management.

  2. Demonstrate collaboration of lesson in a classroom together while including all students and how to introduce a variety strategy for organization, orientation, routine, and time management.
