Project SMART Summer Enrichment Training




Project SMART:  Making Mathematics Meaningful is a Texas summer math migrant program created by TEA in collaboration with ESC Region 20.

The overreaching goal of the program is to improve the math skills of migrant students through scientifically-based instruction, technology integration, professional development and parent involvement.

The 5E Model: Engage, explore, explain, extend/elaborate, evaluate; is used to encourage student interaction building content and building language.
