Are you STILL listening? Part II




Now that you know your 4 stages of listening let's learn and practice engaging listening activities that will build and improve [pre-reading skills, attention, social skills and language development. Understanding how to explicitly teach each stage will in turn show us how to assess your student's listening skill set. 
Objectives: 
  1. Identify and describe the 4 stages of listening and their impact on Executive Functioning and language development.
  2. Develop listening activities that purposely teach each listening stage.
  3. Identify the breakdown of listening by stage and skill set.
