Participants will gain the Knowledge and skills identified in the Texas Administrative Code for educational diagnosticians which provides general guidance for assessment specialists. These skills serve as a code of ethical behavior for all assessment related activities. This session will highlight the ten standards written in TAC 239.83. There will also be a brief overview of APA standards which are relevant to the practice of educational diagnosticians.
