Some authors have the ability to transform the way we see the world in just a few pages.  Join us as we travel through the great works of O'Connor, Baldwin, Le Guin, Kincade, and other great American short story tellers. The Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to Bob Dylan “for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition” in 2016. What role does music play in our classroom? How can we use music to connect with our students and teach them about the beauty of the written word? Join us for this power session as we discuss these and many more questions as we listen to everything from Springsteen to Café Tacuba.
