The Librarian Alternative Certification Program is intended to aid districts in filling Texas School Librarian positions with outstanding librarians who are highly trained, committed, dedicated and who have exceptional skills and empathy necessary to work with a diverse student population.
Certified teachers participating in the Librarian Alternative Certification Program must have a Masters degree and a minimum of two years teaching experience. Interns will participate in an intense 12 month cohort including 300+ hours of internship & TExES exam.
