TSDS PEIMS is the application for submitting, validating, and reporting PEIMS data and will be replacing the legacy EDIT+ system beginning in 2016-2017. PEIMS itself is the legislatively mandated set of data collected by TEA about public education, including student, staff, course, financial, and organizational information.

Important Session Information:


LEAs will load, validate, and submit their PEIMS data to TEA via TSDS PEIMS.  Stage 1 LEAs will begin the PEIMS transition in the 2015-16 school year.  This training is designed to introduce LEA PEIMS personnel with the TSDS PEIMS process and the resources used in order to submit the required data to TEA. Thus enabling LEA PEIMS users to load their data earlier and have access to their underlying data in a timelier manner. Attendees will be introduced to terminology, resources and processes related to processing PEIMS data.
