Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) provides clarification of legal requirements integrating State and Federal Laws to (TAC) Chapter 89 of the Commissioner's Rules Concerning the Education of Limited English Proficiency Students.
This is a Trainer of Trainers (TOT) session meant to prepare those in charge of training school personnel on the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) policies and procedures established by Federal and State legislation. The purpose of this session is to equip district/school personnel and build capacity for the purpose of establishing the mandated process to meet the needs of English Language Learners. This training mirrors the LPAC training recently released by the Texas Education Agency's Bilingual/ESL Department.
