MEP Parent Advisory Council Training




The goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma (or complete a HSED) that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning, and productive employment.

Important Session Information:


Title 1 Part C District Representatives will receive information on establishing a Parent Advisory Council for their School System, that provides parents of Migratory Students an opportunity for appropriate consultation in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school system's Title 1 Part C Program. Additionally, provide the same parental involvement as required for programs and projects under Section 1116.
