Join us for this grant funded event where teachers will explore high-yield reading and writing strategies designed specifically for the secondary classroom. Participants will learn practical approaches to increase student engagement, strengthen comprehension, and support effective written responses across content areas. The session will also review key writing practices proven to enhance STAAR performance, equipping teachers with actionable tools they can implement immediately to support student success.

This grant funded event is sponsored by the West Texas Reading Symposium being held on August 19, 2026.
