Important Session Information:


Restorative practices focus on building, maintaining, and repairing relationships to foster community and resolve conflicts proactively. In this training, a leadership team will learn to facilitate restorative communication that emphasizes accountability, empathy, emotional maturity through methods like Community Building Circles, Respect Agreements, and "I Message" techniques. Core principles include strengthening relationships, fostering belonging and emotional safety between students, faculty, and community members. Benefits include improved climate, deeper connections, reduced undesirable behaviors, such as suspensions, bullying, and mutual combat. Tier 1 covers Restorative Practices Community Building Circles.
