Designing High-Impact Scholastic Esports Programs From Planning to Launch for Academic and Career Alignment




Join us for a focused professional development session on scholastic Esports and its role in student engagement, academic achievement, and career readiness. Presented by Extron and PlayVS, this hands-on workshop supports districts and campuses launching or strengthening Esports programs.

This session frames Esports as an academic and career-connected program aligned to instruction, CTE pathways, and workforce preparation. You explore how Esports supports teamwork, leadership, communication, and student persistence, while opening postsecondary and scholarship pathways.

Participants receive step-by-step guidance from program planning through launch. Topics include staffing and coaching models, student recruitment, parent and family communication, competitive team management, game day operations, and curriculum integration.
