The AI-Augmented Educator: Bridging Technology and Pedagogy for Teachers New to AI

A Powerhouse Collaboration for the Future of El Paso Education
Step into the future of instruction through an elite partnership between ESC 19, Televisa Foundation (Cuantrix), and Google.org. This collaboration brings a world-class curriculum to our region, specifically engineered to empower K-12 educators in the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computational Thinking.

Session Overview
This FREE, full-day immersion is designed specifically for elementary and middle school teachers who are new to AI. Participants will gain a comprehensive learning space to understand, reflect upon, and implement AI technologies in a way that is practical and safe.
The curriculum is built for the "real-world" classroom: it is flexible, adaptable to diverse school contexts, and designed to function effectively with or without internet access, ensuring that the teacher always remains the central decision-maker.
The Deep-Dive Curriculum
• Module 1: AI Literacy & Ethics
• Module 2: AI-Enhanced Instruction
• Module 3: AI & CS Programming Fundamentals I
• Module 4: AI & CS Programming Fundamentals II

Empowering Teachers, Impacting Students
This program fosters digital literacy and critical thinking about AI without mandating the use of specific tools. You will walk away not just with new technical skills, but with a pedagogical framework that keeps the teacher as the essential mediator in the learning process.

Join ESC 19 and the Cuantrix team to transform your classroom into a hub of future-ready innovation at no cost to your school or district.
