Ready, Set, Grow!: Strategies for STAAR Reading Success in Grade 3
STAAR Grade 3
Share
In this hands-on session, educators will dive deep into the Reading Language Arts STAAR assessment to uncover insights that drive student success. We’ll analyze raw score conversion tables and explore the latest TEA released items to understand the structure and rigor of the test. Participants will engage in collaborative practice to model writing strategies for both short and extended constructed responses, guided by the STAAR rubric. Together, we’ll evaluate ECR student samples and identify trends in ECRs that were rated a 5. Walk away with ready-to-use classroom activities that support RLA STAAR components.
