This interactive session will guide special education teachers in self-contained classrooms through practical strategies for writing detailed PLAAFPs, developing meaningful goals and objectives, and creating efficient data collection systems. Using the
Rubric of Effective Practices
as a framework, participants will not only learn best practices but also engage in hands-on opportunities to apply the work—practicing the development of PLAAFPs, aligning goals, and designing data collection tools that directly support student growth.
