This session is designed to provide Local Education Agencies (LEA's) and Private Non-Profit (PNP) schools with a comprehensive understanding of the initial consultation process for Federal Programs. This session will cover the legal requirements, common questions, and practical steps necessary to ensure effective and compliant consultations, ultimately benefiting eligible private school students and teachers.
Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Understand the federal consultation requirements for equitable services to private school students and teachers.
- Identify the key stakeholders and their roles in the consultation process.
- Navigate common challenges and frequently asked questions related to initial consultations
- Accurately complete and submit the Affirmation of Consultation form.
- Ensure timely and meaningful consultation throughout the year.
