Intended for teachers who will be teaching the HB 5 College Preparatory Courses designed for high school seniors identified by their districts as not having met college readiness standards.
Participants will learn about the requirements of HB 5, learning outcomes of this course, goals and objectives, and grading policies. Teachers will receive guidance through developing a syllabus and incorporating College and Career Readiness Standards as well as the Common Instructional Framework into their curriculum and lesson plans for the college preparatory courses.
