Aligning Roles and Expectations: A Deep Dive into Comprehensive School Counseling with TEA’s Stephanie Lerner




The Counselor Academy is geared towards counselors with less than 3 years of experience, but all are welcome to any specific session.

Objective:

R19’s Counselor Academy is an opportunity for counselors to seek guidance while collaborating and networking with other new counselors across the region. Through this experience, counselors will gain tools to build successful programs while being supported and inspired throughout the process. These collaboration opportunities will provide an empowering environment  for counselors to learn effective proactive strategies while building professional confidence and forming powerful toolkits. 

Program Focus

Topics will vary by month. Topics this school year include: T-SCESS, Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs, Foreign Transcript training, and TEA updates.
