The goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma (or complete a HSED) that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning, and productive employment.

Description: This book study series will be for high school seniors currently identified as receiving services in MEP and MKV. The purpose of the book study is to engage in literacy-based lessons through low-stakes writing, critical thinking exercises, and frequent, small group purposeful talk with themes relevant to our students. Technology and social-emotional structures will be embedded into the workshops. The aim of the book study is to continue to relationship build and create opportunities for our students’ strengths to be maximized as we continue to impact the livelihoods of our seniors who will be graduating at the culmination of this school year.
