In order to ensure increased achievement and access to the general curriculum for students with disabilities, an IEP process called a “Standards-Based IEP” has been recommended as a best practice for achieving academic goals.
This training is divided into five parts or units.

Important Session Information:


The purpose and objectives of the “Standards-Based IEP Process” training is to provide stakeholders:
• A framework to assist them in developing IEPs that are aligned to state academic grade-level content standards.
• A practice to support student access to the general curriculum, and
• A method to measure student progress in the enrolled grade-level curriculum.
