The RBIS in RLA includes foundational skills, text complexity, building knowledge, and text-based responses.  Teams will analyze current practices and identify key shifts needed in RLA instruction to increase student outcomes.

The Reading Language Arts Team at Region 19 is offering professional learning on Research Based Instructional Strategies in RLA. Research Based Instructional Strategies Include: Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Building Knowledge, and Text Based Responses.
