Overview:
This engaging three-part workshop series is designed for K-12 teachers who want to enhance their practice and support all learners, particularly those in special education who receive instruction in the general education classroom. Based on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) 3.0 framework, this series will explore the core principles of UDL—engagement, representation, and action & expression—with the overarching goal of fostering learner agency that is purposeful and reflective, resourceful and authentic, and strategic and action-oriented.
Participants will leave each session with practical strategies to implement UDL principles immediately in their classrooms and will have the opportunity to receive personalized guidance through optional one-on-one coaching sessions with a Region 19 professional development consultant.
