CBLI is an integrated approach to language instruction in which language is developed within the context of content delivery that is culturally and linguistically responsive. Participants will learn targeted and intentional methods used to meet the affective, linguistic, and cognitive needs of Emergent Bilingual students.

CBLI is an integrated approach to language instruction in which language is developed within the context of content delivery that is culturally and linguistically responsive. Participants will learn targeted and intentional methods used to meet the affective, linguistic, and cognitive needs of Emergent Bilingual students. 

You will be able to:

  *Teach academic language using research-based strategies that apply for all programs with EB students.

  *Create lessons using comprehensive input/output.

  *Support writing across all disciplines.

  *Engage/Empower Emergent Bilingual students in all learning environments.

  *Support Emergent Bilingual students in accessing, interpreting, using, and producing language across content areas during Tier I instruction.
