The goal of the Effective Schools Framework (ESF) is to provide a clear vision for what districts and schools across the state do to ensure an excellent education for all students. The ESF provides the basis for campus diagnostics and for aligning resources and support to the needs of each school. It is the starting point for improving internal systems such as PLCs, job-embedded feedback, capacity building, and aligning partners to support the continuous improvement process. The ESF Overview for School Improvement training is required for campus & district leadership of a campus that is committed with the School Improvement Grant (SIG) or the ESF Focused Support Grant.
For campuses that engage in School Improvement and/or the ESF-Focused Support Grant, the Principal, DCSI, and the Principal's Supervisor (if not the DCSI) must attend and ESF Overview session at ESC Region 19
