Hearing and Vision Recertification - TDHS
Hearing and Vision Re-Certification

The primary purpose for hearing and vision screening is to detect existing or potential hearing and vision problems that may affect psychological or perceptual processes of hearing and vision or that may interfere with performance at school.  Generally children will not outgrow vision problems; therefore, early intervention is very important.  Early detection of hearing loss is very important to a child's development.  Hearing is essential for learning to talk.  Early management of hearing loss is essential to a child's social, academic, speech and language development.  This Texas Department of Health Services recertification course fulfills state requirements for five-year recertification renewals.
