TEKS - Getting Ready for Mathematics Units
NA Algebra I - Unit 4




Participants will get ready to teacher the up coming unit in the TEKS Resource System-TEKS RS. The components of the TEKS RS and Implementing TEKS RS-ITRS will be utilized as participants outline the mathematics.  A deep dive into the Performance Assessments will drive conversations that will affect the various strategies used for developing problem solving skills and concepts. Each session will include research-based instructional strategies such as balancing procedural and conceptual approaches and supporting students in productive struggle.
