the purpose of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act is to identify and remove barriers for homeless children and unaccompanied youth and ensure that students in these circumstances have equitable access to all available support and resources to meet the same challenging state academic standards established for all students.

Important Session Information:


Leadership training opportunity for high school students receiving McKinney-Vento services; this day will provide students an opportunity to launch off the new school year inspired and ready by equipping them with motivational workshops and tools that will strategically enhance the lives—academically and personal—of our students.
