GT-Twice Exceptional
GT 6 Hour Update / 8-24-22

The term “twice-exceptional,” also referred to as “2e,” refers to students who have been coded GT along with an additional indicator. This indicator could be a disability. These disabilities may include specific learning disabilities (SpLD), speech and language disorders, emotional/behavioral disorders, physical disabilities, autism spectrum, Dyslexia or other impairments such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This session will give teachers strategies on how to better serve their 2E students to help them reach their full potential .
