Suicide is currently the 2nd leading cause of death among youths and young adults 10-24 years of age. Being prepared with a well-defined plan for suicide prevention, intervention and postvention are critical. Learn about suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention through a multi-tiered system of support and walk away with practical strategies to address suicide. After attending this session, participants will be able to: 1) Understand suicide prevention awareness strategies. 2) Identify how to assess and intervene with those at-risk. 3) Explain postvention supports after a suicide.
