The Migrant Education Program works collaboratively with school districts, as well as regional, state and interstate agencies in an effort to provide high-quality academic and social opportunities for migrant students.

Audience

The audience for the A Bright Beginning training is:

Independent Project District and SSA Member District educators* who will be implementing the ABB program within the district. Educators may be certified teachers, paraprofessionals, or recruiters.

It is also strongly recommended that the MEP Director for the district attend the training so he or she is aware of the role and responsibilities of the ABB educator. 

During this virtual training, Migrant Education Program (MEP) educators who will be implementing the A Bright beginning program in their district will:

  • Learn how to access the web-based curriculum and resources
