This is a full day of training for each meeting session.  The training will focus on the role of the special education director and outlining the requirements under special education funding.  Participants will have an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the funding cycle regarding special education as well as quick tips and planning for the year.  This is a great opportunity to expand the collaboration between your district's special education and finance departments. This four part series will include information and guidance regarding MOE, SHARS, state funding, TEA audits and more. This training is for district staff that is responsible for the budgeting and expenditures of special education funds.
