Authority for these requirements is found in the Code of Federal Regulations, 7 CFR Part 245, and other Food and Nutrition Service Departmental regulations and instruction this manual contains information on Federal requirements regarding the determination of eligibility for free and reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program.
