Adapting Literature for Life Skills




This session is for teachers who teach students with low incidence disabilities and/or multiple impairments who are functioning several grade levels below their peers.

Participants will learn the importance of providing adapted materials for student use, participate in creating adapted books, and design lessons that incorporate multiple modalities to enhance student learning. Participants will receive materials to make adaptive books as part of the session.
