The primary focus of the training will be placed upon the following areas: FIE and cognitive processing, present levels of academic achievement and functional performance (PLAAFP) development; writing goals and objectives; and how Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee team members should collaborate in order to ensure IEP alignment.

This training is designed to provide Life Skills teachers and evaluation personnel an overview of the Standards-Based IEP process and how the “language” they use impacts the development of appropriate IEP for students with low incidence disabilities.
