The Speech and Language Pathology Network meets throughout the year to discuss issues pertaining to speech services in public schools. The primary purpose of the meetings is to have a core group of members, representing the school districts in Region 19, stay informed of state and federal legislation, new evaluation instruments, and current research involving English language learners in special education.
Additionally, throughout the year the network works on a critical-needs project annually selected by members that advance the field of speech language pathology.
