This session will provide a quick overview of TEA's differentiated Monitoring and Support (DMS) system for special education monitoring. Your team will be introduced to the elements of the required Strategic Support Plan and discuss how this process will impact student outcomes. Your team will engage in a planning process of the following 8 Steps:

• Review Sources of Data

• Identify Priority Areas

• Develop Problem Statement(s)

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis

• Define Annual Goal(s)

• Develop Strategies for Implementation

• Define Implementation Activities

• Monitor and Report Progress, in order to complete the self-assessment prior to the date of submission.
