Impact Coaching is a one-day session designed to improve the coaching skills of all participants.  The learning will help to improve coaching interactions within the T-TESS and T-PESS cycles.  The training will focus on the principals, steps and skills necessary to embed a culture of growth, development, and support needed to make each coaching opportunity a cooperative exercise in improving instruction and student achievement.

Important Session Information:


Impact Coaching is an optional companion training for T-TESS and T-PESS appraisers.  Participants will learn and apply specialized coaching skills, tools, and competencies to utilize in the T-TESS and/or T-PESS observation cycles and in conversations around teaching and learning.

Workshop Outcomes:

  • Cultivate a culture of growth, development, support and coaching that is intentional
  • Embed the coaching principals into teaching and learning as an ultimate self-directed process
  • Individually and collectively align our skills, knowledge and responsibilities to the role of the coach
  • Enhance planning, reflecting, problem-solving, and instructional capabilities for self and others
