The Tough ARD Toolbox
Fall 2019 The Tough ARD Toolbox
Share
Have you ever sat through an ARD meeting with tempers running high, people talking over each other and no decisions being made, and in the end the parent disagrees? Come learn strategies about how to facilitate on-going dialog and restore collaboration. Facilitating a meeting is a skill that challenges our abilities to focus, encourage, and support the thoughts, opinions, and values of others while ensuring a quality discussion. This session will enhance your current communication skills, explore effective meeting management, and learn conflict resolution strategies in order to restore collaboration all through hands on experiences and practice. This session will also support T-TESS Dimension 4.1 addressing professional demeanor.
