This workshop will address best practices in identifying dyslexia and reading disorders and how to link with targeted, research supported interventions.  Historical reading research and its relevance to today's practices for dyslexia and SLD will be discussed.  A comprehensive model for dyslexia evaluation including screening, assessment, intervention, and monitoring will be reviewed along with examples of relevant tools.  Models for SLD identification
