The goal of these sessions is to provide a clear vision for what districts and schools across the state do to ensure an excellent education for all Texas students.  The Effective Schools Framework (ESF) provides the basis for school and district leaders.  These sessions will provide school district leadership teams the opportunity to participate in professional development that is aligned with the ESF Levers which will help support continuous improvement at the campus and district levels.  The five ESF Levers are: Strong School Leadership and Planning, Effective, Well Supported Teachers, Positive School Culture, Effective Instruction, High Quality Curriculum.

Important Session Information:


In this session, school instructional leaders will engage in a process of prioritizing and unpacking standards, reviewing assessments, creating exemplars and generating success criteria to ensure students have mastery of the standards. This continuous cycle of data review will empower administrators and teachers to dive deep into the standards and student work to identify gaps and plan for an effective re-teach.
