Computer Science Principles




Computer Science Principles introduces teachers to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. More than a traditional introduction to programming, it is a rigorous, engaging, and approach.

Registration Completion Process:

Teachers need to go to the CODE.org web site and follow the following directions:

Click on “Teach” on the top header

Click on the “Join us” box

Go to the Middle/High School and click on the “I teach Box”

Enter local zip code and click “submit”

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Start Application Box”

Teacher is asked to create and account and fill in the application (multi page application).  And submit.

This application will be directed to the We_Teach CS group at UT Austin that is providing the scholarships.
