This training is designed for classroom teachers, behavior staff, school counselors and parents. Presenters over the day of training will focus on how to positively support students of all abilities in both home and school settings. Topics will include trauma-informed care, communication systems (beyond signing), positive behavior supports and interventions, sensory needs, empowering students, creating positive learning environments, and positive behavior programming.

PRESENTERS:
Linda Rees - she retired after 30 years of experience as a Behavior Specialist at Texas School for the Deaf where she worked with students, teachers, parents and many others to address the behavior health needs of students of all ages.
Monica Kurtz, BA - currently works as an Education Specialist at Region 13. Has over 25 years experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing with additional disabilities.
