Okay, so you've done PECS (Picture Exchange Communication Systems) with your students. You have even gotten them to make choices. But now you are in choice-making limbo and can't seem to move on. In this training we will work on moving students beyond the first three stages of PECS and on to functional language using picture symbols. Participants will create tons of materials to use in the classroom the next day that will address teaching picture combinations, language, grammar and literacy skills.
