Academy for New to Novice Special Education Teachers
Fall 2018




This session will offer a six month professional growth and networking experience. Over the six month period of time. the New to Novice Special Education Teacher Academy will focus on tips for lesson planning, IEP development and maintenance, classroom/behavior management, differentiation, assessment, collaboration skills, heavy caseloads, negotiating inclusion of students, and educating diverse learners. Support, advice, information, and inspiration will also be provided to help teachers throughout their journey in the complex field of Special Education.
